Beat the Streets’ An African Music Night for Street Children
October 12 @ 7:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Join us for an energetic night of diverse music by African artists to support Evie Grace Foundation’s mission of eliminating child trafficking through advocating for and supporting street children. All proceeds from the evening go towards fundraising for land for our Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre in Ngong, Kenya which currently houses more than 110 former street boys.
Featuring the headliner AfroKing with magnificent hip-hop, S6ixpence SOKO with conscious and storytelling rap and Zico Afro Fusion with drumming and dancing to inspire you, this music night is sure to have you pumped on your Saturday night. Local musicians Princess Khanya and Yanano Eunice will be featuring with their own unique songs and style and with some covers to get you in the groove. Plus MC VICOLO.
This benefit gig is alive with inspiring artists for a valuable cause helping sustain rescuing of street children in Kenya. Evie Grace Foundation partners with the Global Hope Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre which is overcrowded with boys rescued from the brutality and starvation of being on the streets. We are fundraising for land on which a generous local construction company will construct wonderful accommodation so that we can continue to save children from child trafficking and give them a place to call home.
What you gain from this night is a special experience of diverse music by African artists and the knowledge that you have contributed to a valuable cause all just for enjoying a night out of fabulous music.
